New Claim Form, Posting Notice and Pamphlet Shipments Begin Sept 7: On Oct. 8, California employers must: 1) post revised workers' comp employee posting notices; 2) distribute an updated version of the new hire pamphlet to employees hired on or after that date; 3) provide a new DWC-1 Claim Form/Notice of Potential Eligibility to workers injured on or after that date; and 4) post new Medical Provider Network (MPN) notices if they use an MPN. CWCI has sent revisions to its workers' comp posting notice and pamphlets for DWC approval, and expects to have these notices and new claims forms available by mid-September.
