  • Keynote speaker Sarah Bohn, Vice President of Research and Senior Fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California, who will offer an update on the California economy and discuss how the $64 billion deficit, one-party rule, and ongoing demographic changes will affect the state’s long-term business environment.

  • CWCI Senior Vice-President Rena David and President Alex Swedlow will review new research on workers’ compensation outcomes and issues that will be on the front burner in 2024.

  • CWCI Senior Vice-President of Claims and General Counsel Sara Widener-Brightwell and Chief Operating Officer Gideon Baum, who will review issues affecting workers’ compensation that are likely to be addressed in the courts and by state lawmakers in the year ahead.
