CWCI Relocates Office to Uptown Oakland
Final preparations are underway for CWCI’s move to our new office in the Lake Merritt Plaza complex, located directly across 20th Street from the Kaiser Center and adjacent to Lake Merritt in uptown Oakland.
This week our staff will finish packing up our Oakland City Center office and continue to set up the new office, but our phones, faxes, and computers will remain up and running through Thursday with more limited access on Friday. The Institute will be closed for President’s Day next Monday (February 20), but staff will report to the new office and we will be open for business at the new location effective Tuesday, February 21.
Our phone number will remain the same, so you may continue to use our existing phone number, 510-251-9470 to call the Institute. Our fax numbers, staff emails, and website address will also be the same. The post office will forward our mail from our current office, but to avoid delays, please use our new address:

The office offers quick access to I-580, I-880, CA-24, I-80, and I-980, and is two blocks east of the 19th St. BART station, providing easy access to the Oakland Airport, downtown San Francisco, and most Bay Area locations. The new office is in a secured building, so if you plan to visit, please alert our staff in advance.
