Claims Monitoring Interactive Tool Allows Online Access to Industrywide Paid Data
CWCI has developed a new interactive application that allows our members online access to industrywide paid data on California workers’ compensation claims from accident years 2005 through 2016, derived from the Institute’s Industry Research Information System (IRIS) database.
To access the claims monitoring report and the interactive tool, Institute members can use their CWCI website user name and password to log on to www.cwci.org, (If you need to register for member access to our website, or forgot your website log-in information, call 510-251-9470).
Once you are logged onto our website, click Research and scroll down to “Claims Monitoring: AY 2005-2016 Claims.” Here you will find two options:
- Click the “Full Report” button for a 4-page report detailing the metrics included and selections available in the application, notes on how to use the tool, screenshots showing how the information will display, and the data and methods used to compile the data; or
- The “Interactive Data” button, which will open the application. The application contains two dashboards plus the data and methods section, all accessible from tabs at the top of the screen.
The Claims Monitoring application is part of our ongoing effort to provide members with distributed analytics to enable a more comprehensive, interactive experience based on CWCI research. Upcoming applications will provide detailed regional data on AY 2007- AY 2016 claims; and updated data on the utilization and cost of prescription drugs in California workers’ compensation.
If you or your staff have questions or would like assistance in accessing or using our interactive tools, please call the Institute at 510-251-9470. Thank you.
