An updated report on medical utilization and reimbursement outcomes following implementation of California workers compensation medical reforms shows that the most significant savings continue to come from reductions in the use of chiropractic manipulation and physical therapy, while there has been little change in the average number of visits and average amounts paid for surgery and evaluation and management procedures.
