Free Webinar Reviewing CWCI/WCIRB ASC Study
Two weeks ago CWCI and the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau (WCIRB) issued a joint study which found that since ambulatory fee schedule (ASC) fee schedule changes mandated by SB 863 were enacted a year ago, average ASC facility fee payments have declined 26% per episode and 28% per procedure – reductions that are in line with the savings the WCIRB projected in its January rate filing.
On Tuesday, March 25, the WCIRB and the Institute will host a free Research Forum Webinar for our members and other interested parties to take a closer look at this research and to provide you with an opportunity to ask the authors any questions you may have about the study. The webinar will be presented by Rena David of CWCI and Dr. Gregory Johnson of the WCIRB, the coauthors of the study, who will run through a slide presentation highlighting the findings while providing commentary and insights into those results.
The one-hour webinar will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., but space is limited, so if you are interested, please visit the webinar registration link at https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/282068969 to secure a space and obtain the additional information you will need to participate.
